Social integration of Ukrainian children at the second level of elementary schools in the Ústí Region

Abstract:

Tato předkládaná práce se zabývá sociální integrací ukrajinských dětí, a to konkrétně na druhém stupni základních škol v Ústeckém kraji. Práce se skládá ze dvou částí. Z části teoretické a části empirické. Teoretická část obsahuje vymezení základních pojmů, popis cizinců v rámci ČR, stručný popis války na Ukrajině, charakteristiku ukrajinské komunity a dále také popis systému vzdělávání na Ukrajině. V závěru teoretické časti se zabýváme integrací žáka-cizince do českého prostředí. Součástí empirické části je kvantitativní šetření, které je zpracováno prostřednictvím tištěných dotazníků.

Abstract:

This presented thesis deals with the social integration of Ukrainian children at the second level of elementary schools in the Ústí Region. The work consists of two parts. The theoretical part and the empirical part. The theoretical part contains the definition of basic terms, a description of foreigners within the Czech Republic, a brief description of the war in Ukraine, characteristics of the Ukrainian community and a description of the education system in Ukraine. At the end of the theoretical part, we deal with the integration of a student-foreigner into the Czech environment. Part of the empirical part is a quantitative investigation, which is processed through printed questionnaires.
