Strategic Plan for Development of Culture in Uhersky Brod

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na oblast kultury a strategického plánování jejího rozvoje ve městě Uherský Brod. Úvodní kapitola představuje město, ve zkratce je nastíněno fungování městského úřadu a odbory, které se zabývají záležitostmi kultury. Zmíněna je i historie města a významné osobnosti, které jsou s regionem úzce spojeny. Další kapitola je již podrobněji zaměřena na kulturní instituce, které jsou ve městě provozovány, na jejich nabídku produktů občanům a jejich návštěvnost. Zároveň jsou uvedeny organizace a spolky, které nejsou řízeny městem. Následující SWOT analýza slouží jako výchozí nástroj a pomůcka pro strategické plánování, pomáhá odhalit možnosti, úskalí i výzvy do budoucna a díky nim co nejlépe zformulovat konkrétní návrhy a plány, které by městu pomohly k efektivnímu a dlouhodobému plánování a rozvoji v této oblasti. Strategické plánování vychází ze stávající Marketingové strategie rozvoje cestovního ruchu v Uherském Brodě, její výsledky a doporučení jsou zhodnoceny a přidány další návrhy. Součástí diplomové práce je také analýza financování kultury, která je zaměřena na otázku podpory kulturních organizací, současný systém podpory a možnosti čerpání grantů

Abstract:

The thesis is focused on the culture and a strategic planning for its development in Uhersky Brod. The introductory chapter presents the city. In a shortcut is outlined the functioning of the town council and departments that deal with issues of culture. Mentioned is also the city's history and important persons, which are closely associated with the region. Another chapter is specifically focused on cultural institutions, that operates in the town and the chapter also deals with their product offerings to citizens and visitors. There are also listed organizations and associations which are not operated by the city. The following SWOT analysis is used as the default tool and a tool for strategic planning, helping to identify opportunities, threats and challenges for the future and thanks them are formulated concrete proposals and plans that could help the city to lead culture to effective and long-term planning and development in this area. Strategic planning is based on current Marketing strategy for tourism development in Uhersky Brod, its results and recommendations are reviewed and there are added additional suggestions. The thesis includes an analysis of the financing of culture that is focused on the issue of supporting cultural organizations, the current system of support and the possibility of drawing other grants.
