Creation of consignment stock of raw material in the selected company

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou zásobování hutním materiálem v akciové společnosti Bombardier Transportation v České Lípě. Na základě provedené analýzy současného stavu bylo zjištěno, že dosavadní zásobování společnosti hutním materiálem vykazuje značné nedostatky. Těmi jsou vysoká zásoba hutního materiálu, nízké obrátky zásob, nebo naopak možnost zastavení výroby z důvodu nedodání materiálu z hutí a dodávky tohoto materiálu, které se neřídí požadavky na minimální a maximální zásobu. Tento způsob zásobování hutním materiálem tedy již nevyhovuje současným trendům a požadavkům vedení společnosti. Navrhovaným řešením této situace bylo vytvoření konsignačního skladu pro hutní materiál s vysokou denní obrátkou v prostorách BTCZ a definování hlavních požadavků na jeho provoz s přihlédnutím k možnostem společnosti. V úvodní části jsou charakterizovány vlastní cíle práce. Druhá část seznamuje se základními logistickými pojmy ve výrobním podniku, především z pohledu problematiky zásobování. Ve třetí části je představena společnost BTCZ. V dalších částech práce je provedena analýza současného stavu a popsáno navrhované řešení. Závěrečná kapitola přináší zhodnocení a shrnuje přínosy oproti původnímu stavu, ke kterým došlo při realizaci navrhovaného řešení.

Abstract:

This diploma paper deals with the supply chain management of metallurgical material in the company of Bombardier Transportation Česká Lípa a.s.. Based on the analysis of the current situation, it was found that the existing supply of metallurgical material exhibits considerable shortcomings. These shortcomings are the following high inventory of metallurgical materials, low material turnover, or stopping of production because the supplier didn´t supply the material as requested. This method of providing for metallurgical material is not in line with the current trends nor does it meet the requirements of the company management. Proposed solution to the situation described above was to create a consignment stock in BTCZ for metallurgical material with high daily material turnover and to define the main prerequisites requirements for its operation with regard to the possibilities of the company. The introduction describes the aims of the diploma paper. In the first part own aims of diploma work is characterized . The second part introduces the basic concepts of logistics method in a manufacturing company, especially in the view of supply chain management. In the third part the BTCZ is introduced. In other chapters of the thesis, there is an analysis of the current situation and description of proposed solutions. The final chapter presents the evaluation and summarization of benefits that the proposed solutions brought about during the implementation of the proposed solution, in comparison to the to the original situation.
