In vitro model chronických polymikrobiálních raných infekcí
In vitro model of chronic poly-mickrobial wound infections
Abstract:
Chronické rány se vyznačují dlouhodobým a neúspěšným hojením, přičemž nejzávažnější případy končí fyzickým odstraněním tkáně nebo amputací. Tvorba biofilmu v ráně často vede k selhání antimikrobiální léčby. Dosud však nebyly popsány žádné obecně spolehlivé in vitro modely biofilmu chronických ran. Alginát a poloxamer jsou často používané materiály pro 3D tisk a jejich vlastnosti, jako je pórovitost …moreAbstract:
Chronic wounds are characterised by prolonged and unsuccessful healing, with the most severe cases ending in physical tissue removal or amputation. Biofilm formation in the wound is largely responsible for the failure of antimicrobial treatment. However, no generally reliable in vitro models of chronic wound biofilm have been reported to date. Alginate and poloxamer are frequently used materials for …more
