Bakalářská práce si klade za cíl zhodnotit charakter a úspěšnost čínské energetické politiky uplatňované vůči vybraným producentům z oblasti Blízkého východu. Předpokládá přitom, že se Čína vzhledem k výsadnímu postavení Blízkého východu na světových zásobách ropy a vlastní rostoucí spotřebě bude snažit upevnit své postavení v regionu.
