Addiction and prevention of ICT dependence in primary school children

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá tématem závislosti a prevence závislosti na moderních technologiích pohledem dětí základní školy a jejich rodičů. Cílovou skupinou jsou děti z pátých a šestých ročníků základní školy. Práci rozdělíme do dvou částí, teoretické a praktické. V teoretické části si vymezíme mladší školní věk. Poté se přesuneme do části o závislostech, řekneme si co je závislost, jaké má příznaky, rizika a důsledky. Další kapitolou otevřeme pojmy o virtuálních drogách u dětí mladšího školního věku. Vymezíme si konkrétní technologie a popíšeme možné nápravy tohoto chování. Závěrečnou kapitolu teoretické části věnujeme prevenci rizikového chování. Praktickou část vyřešíme dotazníkovou metodou. Dotazníky připravíme pro děti pátých a šestých ročníků základní školy a jejich rodiče. Všechny výsledky získané výzkumem zpracujeme a vyhodnotíme. Vyvodíme z nich východiska, která mohou v praxi přinést zajímavá zjištění. Tato se mohou stát přínosná pro metodika prevence na půdě základní školy, taktéž rodičům i samotným žákům.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the topic of addiction and prevention of dependence on modern technologies through the view of children of elementary school and their parents. The target group consists of children from the fifth and sixth years of elementary school. We divide the work into two parts, theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part we define the younger school age. Then we move to the section about dependencies, tell us what is dependence, what symptoms, risks, and consequences have. In the next chapter, we will open the concepts of virtual drugs in younger school children. We will define specific technologies and describe possible remedies for this behavior. The final chapter of the theoretical part is devoted to prevention of risk behavior. We will solve the practical part by the questionnaire method. We will prepare questionnaires for children of the fifth and sixth years of elementary school and their parents. All results obtained by the research will be processed and evaluated. We will draw from them the basics that can bring interesting findings in practice. This can be beneficial to the prevention methodology at elementary school, as well as to parents and pupils themselves.
