Abstract:
This diploma thesis deals with the state of Sierra Leone after the end of the civil war, especially with focus on Security Sector Reforms since 2002. It talks about the goals and strategies of this reform. In the first part of the thesis, attention is mainly devoted to the internal development of Sierra Leone, but also to the civil war, which is inherently connected with this African state.
