Abstract:
Methylentetrahydrofolát reduktáza je důležitým enzymem jednouhlíkového cyklu folátu. Katalyzuje redukci 5,10-methylentetrahydrofolátu na 5-methyltetrahydtofolát, který je klíčový pro remetylaci homocysteinu na methionin. Methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase is an essential enzyme of one-carbon cycle of folate. It catalyses the reduction of 5,10-methylenetetrahydrofolate to 5- methyltetrahydrofolate that is crucial for the remethylation of homocysteine to methionine.
