Indicators of S-LCA and their measurement in the company from the perspective of the employer

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou sociálního posuzování životního cyklu, známého pod názvem S-LCA. První kapitola se nejprve týká metody LCA neboli posuzování životního cyklu, v níž je pozornost zaměřena na fáze a možnosti jejího využití, poté je uveden obecný popis S-LCA. Druhá kapitola je věnována zúčastněným subjektům, kterých se mohou sociální dopady týkat, přičemž podrobněji je rozepsána pouze kategorie zaměstnanců. Dále jsou představeny oblasti dopadu a stručně popsány jednotlivé sociální indikátory, které jsou v praktické části předmětem zkoumání ve dvou vybraných podnicích, aby bylo možné výsledky vzájemně porovnat.

Abstract:

Master thesis discusses the problems with social life cycle assessment, known as S-LCA. The first chapter concerns the method of LCA also known as life cycle assessment, in which is attention focused on the phase and the possibilities of using this method. This chapter also includes a general description of S-LCA. The second chapter is devoted to the stakeholders, who may be affected with social impacts, while I am focusing in detail on the category of employees. Furthermore are presented the impact areas and briefly described single social indicators that are in the practical part subjects of examination in the two selected companies, to allow compare the results.
