Importance of games and toys in education of a child

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá významem hry a hračky v edukaci dítěte předškolního věku. Hry tvoří základ celého dne v mateřské škole a jsou důležitým článkem ve vývoji dítěte, proto by měla učitelka mateřské školy znát jejich význam, jak se hry dělí a jakou má zastávat roli během těchto činností. Teoretická část je zaměřena na objasnění teorie hry, jak a z jakých hledisek se hry dělí a jaké znaky charakterizují hru jako takovou. Dále se zabývá historií hraček a jejich vznikem, klasifikací hraček a požadavky na hračku, které by měla ideální hračka splňovat. Závěrem se věnuje hře, jako základní metodě předškolního vzdělávání a roli učitelky ve hře dětí. Praktická část této bakalářské práce se zabývá oblíbeností a volbou her a hraček dětí v mateřské škole a přístupem učitelek k hrám a hračkám v edukaci dítěte. K zjištění těchto informací byl proveden kvantitativní průzkum formou dotazníku. Z průzkumu vyšlo najevo, že realita se shoduje s mnohými teoriemi z odborné literatury.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis provides a closer look upon the meaning of a game and a toy in the education of a child in preschool age. Games represent the basis of the whole day in the kindergarten and play a meaningful part in the evolution of a child, that's why a kindergarten teacher should be aware of their importance, how the games divide and what role is the teacher supposed to represent during these activities. The theoretical part is focused on the clarification of the theory of the game, how and from what aspect can the games be divided and what sings characterize the game as a whole. Furthermore it deals with the history of toys and their origin, classification of toys, requirements for a toy which should an ideal toy comply. In the end it looks into a game as the basic method of a preschooler education and the role of a teacher in the playtime of children. Practical part of this thesis is about the popularity the popularity and the choice of games and toys in the kindergarten and the teacher's access to the games and toys in the child's education. To find out this information we made quantitative research in a form of survey. From this research we concluded that the reality is matching with many theories from professional literature.
