Korupce v Rumunsku od jeho vstupu do EU

Abstract:

Tato práce pojednává o korupci v Rumunsku s ohledem na vládu práva. Především se zabývá touto problematikou od jeho vstupu do Evropské Unie roku 2007. Snaží se ukázat nepřipravenost a nevůli vládnoucích elit bojovat s korupcí, zatímco se v posledních letech vůči tomu zvýšil počet občanských hnutí. Nátlakem Evropské Unie se povědomí o korupci a potřeba udělat něco proti tomu stalo více zřetelnými. Rumunsko je stále považováno za jednoho z nejvíce zkorumpovaných států Evropy. Po deseti letech úspěšného boje se nová vláda vydala proti vládě práva, aby dekriminalizovala trestné činy. Prohloubilo to propast uvnitř občanské společnosti a ve vztahu mezi organizacemi občanské společnosti a elitami. Politické strany zneužily antikorupční politiky v šíření poplašných zpráv a soutěži s jejich oponenty. Jedná se o kvalitativní případovou studii.

Abstract:

This thesis discusses the case of corruption in Romania with respect to the rule of law. It specifically deals with the issue since its entry into the EU in 2007. It aims to show the unpreparedness and the unwillingness of governing elites to fight corruption while indicating the rising number of civil movements, against it in recent years. Under the EU pressure, the perception of corruption and the need to do something about it have become more evident. Romania is still considered as one of the most corrupted states in Europe. After ten years of successful battle, the new government chose the path against the rule of law to decriminalize offenses. It deepened a gap inside the civil society and in the CSOs-elites’ relationship. Political parties have misused anti-corruption policies for spreading fake news and competing with their opponents. This is a qualitative case study.
