Social responsibility of transnational corporations in relation to home state

Abstract:

The main goal of this diploma thesis is to explain the concept corporate social responsibility on the base of gathered data’s and information. Then to applicate this concept on functioning of multinational corporations. More specifically, I will analyse the application of the concept of social corporate responsibility in their relationship towards their home state. I will try to answer the question to what measure, or whether at all, are multinational corporations executing their policy in favour of the government of their home state. The main purpose of this theses is to analyse the problem of synergy of interests and policies of multinational corporations with the government of the state, where is their headquarter located.

Abstract:

Predmetom tejto diplomovej práce je na základe nazhromaždených dát a informácií vysvetliť koncept spoločensky zodpovedného podnikania a aplikovať ho na fungovanie nadnárodných korporácií. Konkrétne sa sústredím na výskum aplikácie konceptu spoločensky zodpovedného podnikania nadnárodných korporácií vo vzťahu k ich domovským štátom. Budem sa snažiť zodpovedať otázku do akej miery, a či vôbec konajú nadnárodné korporácie v záujme ich materských štátov. Cieľom práce je analýza tohto problému synergie záujmov a politík nadnárodných korporácií s vládou štátu, kde majú sídlo.
