Abortion

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývala problematikou potratu. Jejím cílem bylo popsat potrat jako společenský, sociální a zdravotní problém a analyzovat jeho etickou stránku. V teoretické části byly popsány všechny souvislosti a okolnosti, které utvářejí svět partnerských vztahů, rodiny, mateřství a života dětí před narozením a po něm. Práce v logickém sledu zachytila etapy lidského života, kdy se utvářejí partnerské vztahy, kdy partneři dítě plánují, na příchod dítěte se připravují a kdy pak nový jedinec vzniká a posléze přichází či nepřichází na svět. Etické stránce života před narozením i po něm a etické stránce potratu byla věnována velká pozornost, protože vysoká úroveň etiky musí stát v základech společnosti, má-li tato společnost být kvalitní a dlouhodobě životaschopná. V praktické části jsou zpracovány výsledky odpovědí na dotazy v dotazníku, týkající se klíčových otázek, s potratem souvisejících. Respondenti byli studenti střední školy, 25 dívek a 25 chlapců. Cílem práce bylo popsat potrat jako společenský, sociální a zdravotní problém a analyzovat jeho etickou stránku. Na základě předpokladů byly zjišťovány zejména názory na legalizaci potratů a povědomí o rizicích a následcích potratů. Závěrem jsou navržena opatření směrem k posílení zodpovědného plánování partnerských vztahů a rodičovství.

Abstract:

The broad objective of this thesis is to examine abortion as a societal, social and health issue and to analyse its ethical aspects. Theoretical section deals with all the connections and circumstances that mold the world of partnership, family, maternity and children´s life before the birth and after it. The thesis takes up, in a logical sequence, those stages of the human life, when the partnership is molded, when partners plan to have a baby, they get prepared for the baby and when a new individual engenders and eventually comes or doesn´t come to this world. A great deal of attention has been paid to the ethical aspect of the human´s life before the birth and after it and also to the ethical aspects of abortion. That is to say that a high level of ethic must lay in the basement of a society, if the society aspires to be of a high-quality and sustainable. The surveying section of the thesis works out the results of the answers given to the questions related to the key points of the abortion. The survey was performed at a high school (25 girls, 25 boys). The objective of the thesis is to examine abortion as a societal, social and health issue and to analyse its ethical aspects. Based on the results, the thesis states whether or not the assumptions of the thesis have been fulfilled. Measures toward responsible partnership and parenthood planning are proposed at the end.
