Cílem diplomové práce je podat kritický životopis Roberta Olomouckého, jednoho z nejvýznamnějších biskupů středověké Moravy, jehož episkopát zaujímá léta 1201-1240. Text se rozpadá na dvě velké části. První je chronologicky strukturovaná biografie, postavená zejména na úředních pramenech. Abstract:
The attempt of this thesis is to bring a critical biography of bishop Robert of Olomouc, whose episcopate took years 1201-1240. First part is chronologically structured and presents Robert’s activities in relation to Premyslid policy and papacy, then follows analysis of his asset to his own diocese, mainly to religious orders.
