Forecast of financial health of the selected company

Abstract:

ANNOTATION Subject of this thesis is to forecast the financial health of of selected company. The theoretical part deals with the historical development of prediction and prediction methods with an emphasis on explaining basic concepts, tasks, resources, indicators, contr ols and methods of evaluating indicators of financial analysis. The second part deals with the predictive models and methods of financial analysis. The aim of the present thesis is to briefly describe the financial analysis with emphasis on predictive models and methods. On the example of the EAGLE company owned by the master student, using the prodictive procedure to found out in what financial condition the company is - to point to the positives and potential threats, which need to be focused in the future.

Abstract:

ANOTÁCIA Predmetom diplomovej práce je predikcia finančného zdravia vybraného podniku. V teoretickej časti práce sa zaoberáme historickým vývojom predikcie a predikčných metód s dôrazom na vysvetlenie základných pojmov, úloh, zdrojov, ukazovateľov, kontrol a metód vyhodnocovania ukazovateľov finančnej analýzy. V druhej časti sa zaoberáme predikčnými modelmi a metódami finančnej analýzy. Cieľom predloženej diplomovej práce je stručne charakterizovať finančnú analýzu s dôrazom na predikčné modely a metódy. Na príklade firmy OROL, ktorej je diplomant majiteľom pomocou predikčných metód zistiť v akej finančnej kondícii sa firma nachádza – poukázať na klady, prípadné hrozby, na ktoré je potrebné sa v budúcnosti zamerať.
