Permanent Architectural Exhibition

Abstract:

Ačkoliv je v současné teorii zprostředkování umění v muzeu hojně reflektovaným tématem, autoři těchto studií mají uměleckým dílem na mysli obrazy a sochy, a nikoliv architekturu. Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá reflexí dlouhodobého vystavování architektury s ohledem na vnímání diváka. Nejdříve je v teoretické části vymezen smysl vystavování architektury v expozici se zřetelem na architektonické pozadí současnosti. V další části jsou ukazovány dva hlavní formáty expozic architektury. V poslední empirické části jsou tyto teoretické poznatky konfrontovány s praktickými přístupy vybraných institucí.

Abstract:

Although the presentation of art is a frequently discussed issue in a nowadays art theory it seems to be meant only paintings and statues whenever the authors speak and write about the work of art in a museum. This Bachelor thesis is dealing with the problem of exhibiting architecture in the long term regarding the perceptiveness of visitors in a permanent exhibition. At first, there is defined the meaning of exhibiting architecture in the present time. Consequently there are introduced two types of architectural exhibition. And lastly there is the empirical part in which the teoretical findings are reviewed by contemporary approaches of the chosen institutions.
