The diploma thesis „Credit risk assessment – bank strategy, treatment and securing of credit transactions“ is devoted to the credit risk, to which banks are exposed in the provision of credit transactions. The introductory part of the thesis introduces the basic functions of banks and the risks that the bank´s activities produce.
