Abstract:
Práce Svazující prvek vody se věnuje postavám žen z vody v evropské (potažmo západní) kultuře – mořským pannám, vodním vílám, selkiím apod. Důraz klade na opakující se tragické vyústění jejich příběhů. Snaží se poukázat na pradávnou a stále pokračující tradici nešťastných osudů těchto bytostí. Abstract:
The thesis Binding element of water is devoted to the characters of women from water in the European (or Western) culture - mermaids, water fairies, selkies etc. It focuses on a repetitive tragic outcome of their stories.
