Prevention of bullying and cyberbullying in secondary schools

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá nebezpečným moderním fenoménem našeho života - kyberšikanou. Ta se neprojevuje pouze u mladších ročníků současné generace, ale je celospolečenským problémem, který narušuje soukromí mnoha občanů společnosti. Moje práce nejprve čtenáře seznámí se základními pojmy šikany a kyberšikany, jejich formami a šířením těchto problémů. Práce se dále věnuje důvodům vzniku těchto fenoménů a jejich samotným aktérům. Dále je třeba uvést i legislativní předpisy, kterými je třeba se řídit v případě zjištění šikany či kyberšikany, postihy a následky takového chování. Cílem práce je seznámit čtenáře s těmito body, přesvědčit jej o skutečnostech a výzkumem dokázat, že žáci se skutečně s tímto negativním chováním setkávají opravdu velmi hojně. Je třeba se zamyslet, jak pomoci a přispět k zamezení těchto problémů a přimět každého, aby bojoval proti těmto nešvarům.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the dangerous modern phenomenon of our life - cyberbullying. This is not only manifested in the younger generations of the current generation, but is a societal problem that undermines the privacy of many people in society. My work first introduces the basic concepts of bullying and cyberbullying, their forms and the spread of these problems. The thesis also deals with the reasons of these phenomena and their actors themselves. It is also necessary to mention the legislative regulations that should be followed in case of finding of bullying or cyberbullying, sanctions and consequences of such behavior. The aim of this work is to acquaint the reader with these points, to convince him of the facts and to prove by the research that the pupils really encounter this negative behavior very often. Consideration should be given on how to help and contribute to avoiding these problems and to encourage everyone to combat these abuses.
