Institute of Banishment as one of the Ways to Deal with Domestic Violence

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce byla zaměřena na domácí násilí a aspekt vykázání násilné osoby ze společného obydlí. Jejím cílem je zjistit jakou úlohu plní intervenční centrum v rámci spolupráce s Policií ČR při uplatňování institutu vykázání v souvislosti s pácháním domácího násilí. Práci tvořily dvě stěžejní oblasti. První část bakalářské práce je teoretická, kdy byly informace čerpány převážně z odborné literatury a obsahuje vymezení jednotlivých pojmů násilí a zabývá se obecnou charakteristikou projevů domácího násilí. Dále popisuje postup Policie České republiky při zjištění domácího násilí a následné řešení tohoto problému s uplatněním nového způsobu ochrany ohrožené osoby, aplikací vykázání násilné osoby ze společného bydliště. Teoretická část se podrobně zabývá činností Intervenčního centra, jeho sociálním zaměřením a spoluprací s dalšími institucemi. Oblast činností intervenčního centra je v teoretické části podrobně zmapována a zároveň je zde popsána také činnost spolupracujících institucí. Druhá empirická část bakalářské práce je částí průzkumnou. Předmětem zkoumání jsou činnosti intervenčního centra, které nabízí klientům v rámci vykázání. Potřebná data byla čerpána ze statistik Intervenčního centra Liberec v letech 2007-2013. Dále empirická část předkládané práce zjišťuje údaje o nízkoprahových klientech. Odpovědi na tyto otázky byly získány z rozhovoru s ředitelem Intervenčního centra Liberec. Zjištěné poznatky jsou použity v závěru bakalářské práce v navrhovaných opatřeních.

Abstract:

The bachelor work was focused on home violence and aspect of throwing a violent person out of the common obode. The work was composed of two main spheres. The first one was the theoretical sphere which contained a specification of single terms of violence and which was concerned with a general characteristic of home violence demonstrations, the Police of the Czech Republic actions with finding out home violence and subseguent methods in this problem solution with application of a new way of protection an endangered person, with an application of throwing a violent person out of the common abode. My work is divided into two main parts. The first part is theoretical and information was gathered mainly from technical literature. It is about a characteristic of typical show of violence and basic terminology regarding domestic violence. It also describes what steps are taken by Czech police when it comes to domestic violence from the moment when they find out about it to how they solve it by using a new way of protection for endangered person (they order the violent person out of matrimonial home). This theoretical part is also looking into the work and activities of an Intervention centre, its social orientation and how it cooperates with other institutions. Activities of the Intervention centre are described more in detail here as well as are activities of cooperating institutions. The second, empiric part of this work is an exploratory part. Main topic of this research is activities of the Intervention centre which are offered to clients. Needed data were used from statistics of Intervention centre in Liberec from years 2007 2013. This empiric part also works with data and information about low threshold clients. All questions were answered by a Director of the Interventional Centre in Liberec and all findings are used in final part of this work in suggested measures.
