Cultural enviroment of Teplice region focusing on nonartificial music

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá kulturním pozadím města Teplice a jeho blízkého okolí, přičemž hlavním faktorem, ovlivňujícím výběr informací, které jsou v ní zpracovávány, je nonartificiální hudba. Nejdříve je stručně zmíněna historie nonartificiální hudby v Teplicích, detailněji potom mapuje období od konce 70. let po začátek 90. let 20. století. Následně jsou podrobně popsáni jednotliví interpreti nonartificiální hudby v daném období a také teplická hudební zařízení, v kterých byla v minulosti nonartificiální hudba provozována. Další část práce je věnována významným osobnostem, jež měli a mají přínos pro nonartificiální hudbu na Teplicku. Poslední významný celek této práce se zabývá současnou podobou teplické hudební scény. Detailně mapuje interprety, nejúspěšnější interprety původem z Teplic, teplické kulturní instituce, jejichž současná činnost zahrnuje produkci nonartificiální hudby a v neposlední řadě také kulturní akce pravidelného charakteru, jejichž program zahrnuje koncerty nonartificiální hudby.

Abstract:

My diploma thesis is concerned with a cultural background of the city called Teplice and its closest surroundings. The main factor influencing the choice of information which is elaborated in the work is the nonartificial music. The first thing concerned is the brief history of nonartificial music in Teplice, then the period of the end of 70's to the beginning of 90's in 20th century is surveyed into detail. Subsequently the particular interprets of nonartificial music are described as well as the musical equipment by means of which was the nonartificial music carried on in the past. The following part of the thesis is dedicated to significant figures who were and still are contributive for nonartificial music in Teplice. The last important part of my work is concerned with the current form of music scene in Teplice. It deals with the most successful interprets who originally come from Teplice, it describes cultural institutions in Teplice which produce nonartificial music these days and it also maps regular cultural events whose programme involves concerts of nonartificial music.
