Abstract:

Bakalářská diplomová práce představuje osobnost Josefa Lišky Doudlebského jako autora prvorepublikových divadelních her a operet ochotnické divadelní scény. Pojednává o životě a díle tohoto dramatika a skladatele se zaměřením na jeho hudební tvorbu a operetní libreta. První část práce je věnována obecné problematice operety a jejího hudebně-dramatického vývoje na našem území. Druhá část se věnuje životu a dílu Josefa Lišky Doudlebského a dále se zaměřuje na nakladatelství, která jeho tvorbu vydávala. V jednotlivých kapitolách je následně představena jeho hudební tvorba a libreta se zaměřením na operetní produkci. Předposlední kapitola je pak věnována konkrétním provedením Liškovy tvorby ochotnickými divadelními spolky a závěrečná část je zaměřena na historii ochotnického divadelního spolku v Doudlebách nad Orlicí. Cílem práce je poukázat na význam tohoto dnes už zapomenutého autora v kontextu ochotnické divadelní scény a přinést co nejkomplexnější informace o jeho životě a díle.

Abstract:

This bachelor’s thesis presents the personality of Josef Liška Doudlebský as an author of plays and operettas for the amateur theater scene during the First Republic of Czechoslovakia. It discusses the life and work of this playwright and composer with a focus on his musical compositions and operetta librettos. The first part of the thesis is devoted to the general issue of operetta and its musical-dramatic development in our territory. The second part deals with the life and work of Josef Liška Doudlebský and further focuses on the publishing houses that published his work. In individual chapters, his musical compositions and librettos are introduced with a focus on operetta production. The penultimate chapter is devoted to the specific performances of Liška’s work by amateur theater associations, and the final part focuses on the history of the amateur theater association in author’s birthplace Doudleby nad Orlicí. The aim of this thesis is to highlight the importance of this now-forgotten author in the context of the amateur theater scene and to provide as comprehensive information as possible about his life and work.
