Jako sexuální parazity označujeme jedince, kteří jsou nuceni k blízké koexistenci se svými hostitelskými druhy, bez kterých by nebyli schopni reprodukce. Tyto organismy se rozmnožují pomocí buď gynogeneze, nebo hybridogeneze. Sexual parasites are organisms, which are forced to coexist closely with their host species, because without them they are not able to reproduce. Those organisms reproduce via gynogenesis or hybridogenesis.
