Detective elements in Josef Škvorecky´s prose
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na zkoumání detektivních prvků v románu Josefa Škvoreckého Lvíče. V úvodu práce je vymezeno postavení autora v kontextu české literatury. Dále jsou popsány charakteristické rysy autorovy poetiky a také její vývoj. Budou charakterizována specifika Škvoreckého detektivní tvorby. Praktická část bude zaměřena na popis a interpretaci detektivních prvků v textu románu Lvíče.
Abstract:
The thesis focuses on examining the detective elements in Lvíče, a novel by Josef Skvorecky (The Lion Cub, translated into English as Miss Silver's Past). The introduction defines the author's the status in the context of Czech literature. The following part describes the characteristics of the author's poetics and its development.
