Bakalářská práce se zabývá životem a dílem Josefa Skupy, od jeho začátků až po léta, kdy jako jediný loutkař v českých zemích fungoval na profesionální úrovni. Pojednává také o Skupových následovnících a fenoménu českého loutkoherectví - o Divadle Spejbla a Hurvínka, které se stalo světově proslulým a zůstává takovým i dnes. Abstract:
This bachelor thesis deals with the life and work of Josef Skupa. From his beginnings until his time as the only professional puppet player in Czechoslovakia. It also deals with the Skupa's followers and phenomenon of Czech puppeteering - Theatre of Spejbl and Hurvinek, which has become famous world wide.
