Education and Integration of Pupils with Different Mother Tongue at Primary Schools

Abstract:

Hlavním tématem diplomové práce je vzdělávání a integrace žáků s OMJ (odlišným mateřským jazykem) na základních školách v České republice. Práce je členěna na teoretickou a praktickou část. První část popisuje základní terminologii, legislativu a jednotlivé postupy v procesech vzdělávání a integrace. Praktická část popisuje kvalitativní výzkumné šetření. Metodou jsou hloubkové rozhovory s učiteli, kteří mají zkušenosti se vzděláváním žáků s OMJ. Hlavním cílem je zjistit, jaká je aktuální situace na vybraných základních školách v rámci vzdělávání a integrace žáků s OMJ. Dílčím cílem je zjistit, jaké jsou rozdíly mezi teoretickými koncepty a konkrétním fungováním v praxi.

Abstract:

The main topic of the thesis is the education and the integration of pupils with different mother tongue at primary schools in the Czech republic. The work is divided to a theoretical and a practical part. The first part describes basic terminology, legislation and individual procedures in the educational and integration process. The practical part describes the qualitative research. The research method is interviews with teachers who have experiences in educating students with different mother tongue. The main objective is to find out what the current situation at selected primary schools is. The partial objective is to find out what are the differences between theoretical strategies and concrete functioning in practice.
