Proteiny patří k nejdůležitějším komponentům molekulární mašinérie všech živých organismů. Jejich funkce závisí na správném sbalení polypeptidového řetězce do stabilní konformace. Proteins constitute the biomolecular machinery of all living organisms. Their function crucially depends on the proper folding of the polypeptide chain into stable conformation.
