Anotace:
Práce mapuje adaptace románů Jane Austenové se zaměřením na Rozum a cit z roku 1995. Práce poskytuje historický nástin vývoje filmové adaptace a některé její teorie.
Abstract:
The main topic of the thesis is film and literary adaptation of Jane Austen’s novels. It presents brief history of adaptation as a genre and compiles all adaptations of Austen’s work. It presents some theories of adaptation of which one is used in the case study of Senses and Sensibility by Ang Lee. In the case study, the thesis argues the changes done to the original text.
