The diploma thesis focuses on defining and demonstrating the significance of Hans Kelsen´s concept of normativity for contemporary legal thinking. It addresses philosophical and theoretical concepts for The Pure Theory of Law, which are followed by an analysis of The Pure Theory of Law itself based on its main institutions.
