Cieľom diplomovej práce je rozbor problematiky riadenia životného cyklu aplikácie a využitie v podmienkach konkrétnej organizácie. Práca sa skladá z troch častí – v prvej časti sa vymedzujú základné pojmy, ktoré súvisia s riadením životného cyklu aplikácie. Druhá časť sa venuje porovnaniu metodík pre vývoj softvéru.
