Reflection between discourses: Search of attributes reflection for educational science

Abstract:

Disertační práce se soustředí na typologizaci fenoménu reflexe v rámci pedagogického diskurzu. Zaměřuje se na hledání nejdůležitějších atributů (znaků) reflexe, které tvoří kritéria pro jednotlivé typy reflexe. Přitom se dívá na reflexi, jako svébytnou kategorii, která se objevuje během historie. Reflexe je tak z teoretického hlediska analyzována jako samostatná kategorie skrze optiku čtyř diskurzů, ve kterých se objevuje: filozofického, sociologického, psychologického a pedagogického. Cílem práce je najít podstatné atributy reflexe, které ohraničují jednotlivé typy reflexe a umožnují tak následnou jasnější aplikaci do pedagogické vědy. Výsledkem jsou tak jednotlivé typy reflexe ve vztahu ke konkrétním atributům jako jsou fáze reflexe; role vědomí, nevědomí a metavědomí v reflexi; fenomén zúžené a rozšířené pozornosti v reflexi; role času v reflexi; vnitřní a vnější dialog v reflexi; sociální perspektiva reflexe; učení jako konstrukce a rekonstrukce významů zkušenosti v reflexi; formy a obsah reflexe. Celkově tak práce vytváří typologizovaný „prostor“ reflexe v rámci pedagogického diskurzu.

Abstract:

The doctoral thesis focuses on the typology of the phenomenon of reflection within the framework of educational discourse. It focuses on finding the most important attributes (characters) reflection, which constitute the criteria for the different types of reflection. At the same time the thesis looks at the reflection as a unique category, which appears during the history. Reflection from a theoretical standpoint is analysed as a separate category through the lens of the four discourses in which it appears: the philosophical, sociological, psychological and educational. The goal of thesis is to find the essential attributes of reflection, which is bordered by the different types of reflection and allow subsequent clearer application to teaching science. The results are different types of reflection in relation to specific attributes such as the phase of reflection; the role of consciousness, the unconscious, and meta-consciousness in the reflection; the phenomenon of condensed and extended attention in reflection; the role of time in reflection; internal and external dialogue in reflection; the social perspective reflection; learning as the construction and reconstruction of the meanings of experience in reflection; the form and content of the reflection. Overall, the work creates the typological “space “of reflection within the framework of educational discourse.
