Předkládaná bakalářská práce pojednává o sloupech ciboria Svatého Marka v Benátkách. Hlavním cílem je určení materiálu, ze kterého jsou sloupy vyrobeny, podobně jako datace a provenience tohoto sochařského komplexu. Na základě benátských kronik a jiných písemných pramenů se práce snaží zjistit, zda se jedná o spolium a rovněž nalézt původní umístění sloupů, které by mohlo souviset s neobvyklou selekcí …more
Abstract:
This thesis focuses on the ciborium columns of the Saint Mark's Basilica in Venice. It predominantly seeks to discover the material, of which the columns are made of, as well as to determine the age and the origin of this sculptural complex.
