Professional satisfaction of German language teachers in primary schools in the Děčín region

Abstract:

The thesis examines the job satisfaction of foreign language teachers. The theoretical section focuses on the characteristics of primary education and the teaching profession, including a review of Czech education. In addition, it discusses stress in the teaching profession, its effects, and ways to avoid it. Additionally, job satisfaction and wellbeing are defined. The practical part involves quantitative research on job satisfaction using a questionnaire. The objective of the study is to determine the factors that influence the degree of job satisfaction of foreign language teachers. In the research sample 134 respondents from the Ústí nad Labem region were included.

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se věnuje profesní spokojenosti učitelů cizích jazyků na 2. stupni základních škol. V teoretické části se zaměří na charakteristiku základního školství České republiky a na charakteristiku učitelské profese. Dále se věnuje stresu v učitelské profesi, jeho následkům a způsobům, jak stres zvládnout. Následně se věnuje profesní spokojenosti a wellbeingu. Praktická část zahrnuje kvantitativní výzkum profesní spokojenosti, který je proveden dotazníkovým šetřením. Cílem bakalářské práce je určit faktory, které ovlivňují míru profesní spokojenosti u učitelů cizích jazyků. Celkem bylo do dotazníkového šetření zahrnuto 134 respondentů z Ústeckého kraje.
