The influences affecting creativity in childhood

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá tvořivostí. Cílem práce je zjistit, zda existují rozdíly v úrovni tvořivosti u dětí předškolního věku v různých typech mateřských škol a v závislosti na dalších kritériích jako je věk dítěte, vzdělání rodičů a stáří sourozenců. Především se zaměřujeme na mateřské školy běžného typu a dále pak na lesní a Montessori mateřské školy. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části definujeme a popisujeme tvořivost, její prvky a úrovně, dále také tvořivé kompetence a tvořivý proces. Také je zde uvedena charakteristika předškolního období, vývoj kresby a vývoj dítěte ve vztahu k vývojové psychologii. V poslední řadě zde uvádíme nástin institucí pro předškolní vzdělávání. V praktické části definujeme cíl výzkumu, výzkumný vzorek a také výzkumnou metodu a její následnou administraci. Jako výzkumnou metodu, pro účely této práce, volíme Urbanův figurální test tvořivého myšlení (TSD-Z). Jedná se o standardizovanou metodu. Šetření provádíme u dětí z předem vybraných mateřských škol. Věková hranice dětí je 5 až 6 let. Na základě zjištěných výsledků jsme formulovali závěry. Jedním z aspektů, které nás zajímají je zjištěná úroveň tvořivosti v závislosti na typu mateřské školy.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with creativity. The aim of the work is to find out whether there are differences in the level of creativity in preschool children in different types of kindergartens and depending on other criteria such as the age of the child, the education of parents and the age of siblings. We mainly focus on ordinary type kindergartens and then on forest and Montessori kindergartens. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part we define and describe creativity, its elements and levels, as well as creative competencies and the creative process. There is also a description of the preschool period, the development of drawing and the development of the child in relation to developmental psychology. Last but not least, an outline of institutions for pre-school education is stated there. In the practical part we present the goal of the research, the research sample as well as the research method and its subsequent administration. We chose Urban's figural test of creative thinking (TSD-Z) as a research method for the purposes of this work. This is a standardized method. We conduct surveys of children from pre-selected kindergartens. The age limit for children is 5 to 6 years. Based on the results, we formulated conclusions. One of the aspects that interest us is the level of creativity found depending on the type of kindergarten.
