Assets of the security system of the Czech republic as a starting point for risk management

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na analýzu aktiv bezpečnostního systému České republiky jako na klíčový faktor pro efektivní řízení rizik. Práce zdůrazňuje nezbytnost definování a klasifikace aktiv v bezpečnostním prostředí a následné identifikace a hodnocení rizik s nimi spojených. V teoretické části práce jsou vymezeny základní pojmy jako aktivum, hrozba, riziko a řízení rizik v organizaci. Tyto pojmy slouží jako teoretický základ pro praktickou část práce, která se zabývá detailní analýzou aktiv bezpečnostního systému ČR. Pomocí metodiky PESTLE-M jsou aktiva identifikována v jednotlivých doménách bezpečnostního systému, jako je kritická infrastruktura, informační a komunikační systémy, státní správa a další. Následně je posouzeno působení hrozeb na tato aktiva a s využitím teorie řízení rizik jsou hodnocena s nimi spojená rizika.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis focuses on the analysis of the assets of the security system of the Czech Republic as a key factor for effective risk management. The work emphasizes the necessity of defining and classifying assets in the security environment and subsequently identifying and evaluating the risks associated with them. In the theoretical part of the thesis, basic terms such as asset, threat, risk and risk management in the organization are defined. These concepts serve as a theoretical basis for the practical part of the work, which deals with a detailed analysis of the assets of the security system of the Czech Republic. Using the PESTLE-M methodology, assets are identified in individual domains of the security system, such as critical infrastructure, information and communication systems, state administration and others. Subsequently, the impact of threats on these assets is assessed and the risks associated with them are assessed using risk management theory.
