Payments in Slovakia after euro adoption

Abstract:

Payments become one of the most common activities of banks, provide both cash and cashless transfer of funds between various actors of economic life and not just within one country but also abroad. These transfers are the most common form of payment, but are also carried out through various promotional tools. Every citizen, whether as a natural or legal person who needs money to function, to which their activities and circulate the various financial relationships with other citizens, businesses and institutions. The main partner for each participant in this cycle of money banks have become. Payments is part of these financial relationships in today's advanced time is expected and a high degree of maturity and diversity of payment, which must be given major emphasis on efficiency, speed, cost savings and especially the safety of property of its participants. In thesis we have focused on the most desired product payments - the establishment and maintenance of the current account, the basic concepts and characterization of individual products. Further, we analyzed the current account in terms of the three largest commercial banks and savings and Slovak, and General Credit Bank and Tatra Bank SpA The subject of this thesis is based on information obtained through questionnaire survey to identify needs, experience and client satisfaction with banks taking advantage of the current account. The aim was to analyze the three products and the results of the survey questionnaire design process optimized for the client in selecting and establishing a current account.

Abstract:

Platobný styk sa stal jednou z najrozšírenejších činností bánk, ktoré zabezpečujú hotovostný a bezhotovostný presun peňažných prostriedkov medzi jednotlivými subjektmi hospodárskeho života a to nielen v rámci jedného štátu, ale aj v zahraničí. Tieto presuny sú najčastejšou formou platobného styku, sú ale realizované aj prostredníctvom rôznych podporných nástrojov. Každý občan, či už ako fyzická alebo právnická osoba, potrebuje k svojmu fungovaniu peniaze, ktoré svojou činnosťou dáva do obehu a tvorí rôzne finančné vzťahy s ďalšími občanmi, firmami a inštitúciami. Hlavným partnerom pre každého účastníka tohto kolobehu peňazí sa stali banky. Platobný styk je súčasťou týchto finančných vzťahov, v dnešnej vyspelej dobe sa očakáva aj vysoký stupeň vyspelosti a rozmanitosti platobného styku, kde sa musí klásť hlavný dôraz na efektívnosť, rýchlosť, úsporu nákladov a hlavne bezpečnosť majetku jeho účastníkov. V diplomovej práci sme sa zamerali na najčastejšie žiadaný produkt platobného styku – zriaďovanie a vedenie bežného účtu, charakterizovanie základných pojmov a jednotlivých produktov. Bližšie sme analyzovali bežný účet v podmienkach troch najväčších komerčných bánk a to Slovenskej sporiteľne a.s., Všeobecnej úverovej banky a.s. a Tatra banky a.s. Predmetom diplomovej práce je na základe informácií získaných formou dotazníkového prieskumu zistiť potreby, skúsenosti a spokojnosť klientov bánk s využívaním služieb bežného účtu. Cieľom bolo na základe analyzovania troch produktov a výsledkov dotazníkového prieskumu navrhnúť optimalizovaný postup pre klienta pri výbere a zriadení bežného účtu.
