Diplomová práce se ve své teoretické části zabývá základní charakteristikou kontaktu rodiče s dítětem, asistovaným kontaktem, rozpadem rodiny a ovlivňováním dítěte rodičem. Ústředním tématem diplomové práce je asistovaný kontakt rodičů a dětí po rozpadu rodiny.
