Crisis management of a company in the field of tourism

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se věnuje krizovému managementu u subjektů cestovního ruchu v době pandemie Covid-19. Jejím cílem je zhodnocení aplikace systému managementu rizik podniků působících v oblasti turismu a využití nabízených státních podpor pro svoji činnost. Metodou dotazníkového šetření a případových studií je analyzována situace subjektů cestovního ruchu v době pandemie včetně ekonomických dopadů vládních restrikcí na vybrané subjekty. Dále formou případových studií se zabývá situací ve dvou podnicích, jeden ze Švýcarska a jeden z České republiky. Práce vyhodnocuje závěry z dotazníkového šetření v oblasti systému managementu rizik a porovnává ekonomické dopady vládních opatření v jednotlivých státech na vybrané subjekty. Závěr diplomové práce se zaměřuje na návrhy a opatření pro jednotlivé typy podniků tohoto sektoru a zhodnocení vládních opatření uvedených států.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with crisis management in tourism entities during the pandemic Covid-19. Its aim is to evaluate the application of the risk management system of companies operating in the field of tourism and the use of state aid for their activities. Using the method of questionnaire survey and case studies, it analyses the situation, including the economic impacts of the government restrictions on tourism entities during the pandemic. In the form of case studies, it deals with the situation in two companies, one from Switzerland and one from the Czech Republic. The thesis evaluates the conclusions of a questionnaire survey in the field of the risk management system and compares the economic impacts of the government measures in individual countries on the selected entities. The conclusions of the diploma thesis focus on proposals and measures for individual types of companies in this sector and the evaluation of the government measures of these countries.
