The Safety of Nuclear Installations in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Cílem předkládané práce je objasnit jadernou energetiku České republiky a její potenciál pro ČR a dále představit úroveň bezpečnosti jaderného zařízení v rámci zvolené jaderné elektrárny, kterou je elektrárna Dukovany. Stanovenému cíli odpovídá také strukturu práce, která se člení do dvou nosných částí. V první kapitole je pozornost zaměřena nejprve na vymezení jaderné energie a historie získávání energie z jádra. Dále je představena jaderná energetika České republiky, její formování z hlediska minulosti a její současný vývoj. Dále je pozornost zaměřena na představení jaderných elektráren ČR, na technologii a zabezpečení elektráren včetně představení platné legislativy v oblasti jaderné energetiky. V druhé kapitole je ústřední pozornost věnována jaderné bezpečnosti zvolené jaderné elektrárny, kterou je jaderná elektrárna Dukovany. Nejprve je pozornost věnována představení zvolené elektrárny, její charakteristice. Dále je přistoupeno k představení systému jejího zabezpečení a bezpečnostních opatření, která se v jaderné elektrárně Dukovany uplatňují. V závěru této kapitoly je přistoupeno k zhodnocení úrovně jaderné bezpečnosti a radiační ochrany zvolené elektrárny.

Abstract:

The aim of this study is to clarify the nuclear power industry in Czech Republic and it is a potential for the Czech Republic and imagine the level of safety of nuclear installations within the chosen nuclear power plant, which is the power station Dukovany. The set objective also corresponds to the structure of the work, which is divided into two supporting parts. The first chapter is focused on the first delimitation of nuclear energy and the history of obtaining energy from the core. Then is nuclear energy of the Czech Republic, process of its formation in terms of its past and current developments. Further attention is focused on the performance of the Czech nuclear power plants, technology and security of power plants including the introduction of legislation in force in the field of nuclear energy. In the second chapter, the main attention is paid to nuclear safety of selected nuclear power plant, which is the Dukovany nuclear power plant. First attention is dedicated to performance of selected plants and its characteristics. Furthermore, proceeded to introduce the system of security and safety measures at nuclear power plant Dukovany apply. At the end of this chapter is to approached to evaluate the level of nuclear safety and radiation protection chosen plants.
