Abstract:

Tématem mé diplomové práce se stala opuštěná chátrající textilní továrna v Novém Městě pod Smrkem. Textilana mě velice zaujala svým kouzlem, příběhem a osamocením. Stojí tam sama a bojuje s přírodními živly a vandaly. Každým dalším týdnem, měsícem se její šance na záchranu s obnovou života v celém objektu krátí.Soustředím se na dané místo a vytvářím šperk přímo pro konkrétní vyhlídnuté prostory Textilany, kterými se inspiruji.Pomocí šperků a jejich instalací, které dále prezentuji na fotografiích, otevírám otázku pro zamyšlení, jak dále naložit s továrními objekty. Šířím zájem o hodnoty areálu jak u místních lidí, tak i laické veřejnosti, uměleckých skupin, odborníků, i investorů. Toto je posláním mé práce. Má diplomová práce obsahuje tři mosazné šperky, které jsou chráněny betonovými schránkami, dále zrcadlovou instalaci v areálu továrny. Tyto projekty jsou doplněny videem a animací pro přiblížení a seznámení diváka s prostory Textilany. Celá práce je shrnuta texty a fotodokumentací v portfoliu, které jsem vytvořila.

Abstract:

My theme of thesis became abandoned, decaying Textile factory in Nové Město pod Smrkem.Textilana enchanted me with its magic, its story, its loneliness. It stands alone, fighting the elements and vandals.Every other week, every other month, its chances for restoration are declining. I concentrating more on the place, creating jewellery specific for spaces in Textilana, for space that inspired me. With my jewels, jewel installations and their photographs, I raise the question how do we deal with industrial objects. I raise awareness of this area?s values in local population, in general population, artistic groups, experts and investors. That is the aim of my work. My thesis consists of three brass jewels, protected by concrete casings, and mirror installation in the factory complex. These projects are complemented with a video presentation and animation to allow the viewer to become familiar with Textilana space. The whole work is summarized in text and photographic documentation in the portfolio I created.
