Job mobility of young people within the EU

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce „Pracovní mobilita mladých v rámci EU“ je zjistit, jak dosavadní kroky ze strany Evropské unie ovlivnily pracovní mobilitu mladých lidí v EU. První kapitola je věnována pojmům týkajících se pracovní mobility, faktorům, které jí ovlivňují a také jejím možným důsledkům. V druhé kapitole je představen legislativní vývoj na půdě Evropské unie v oblasti zaměstnanosti s důrazem na mladé lidi. Třetí kapitola analyzuje současný stav nezaměstnanosti mladých lidí a dosažené výsledky iniciativ Evropské unie v oblasti mládeže. Čtvrtá, poslední kapitole představuje konkrétní nástroje EU pro zvýšení mobility mladých.

Abstract:

The aim of the diploma thesis "Job mobility of young people within the EU" is to find out how the current steps by the European Union affect the job mobility of young people in the EU. The first chapter is devoted to the concepts of job mobility, the factors that affect it and are determined by the possible consequences. The second chapter presents the legislative development in the European Union in the field of employment with emphasis on young people. The third chapter analyzes the current state of youth unemployment and the results achieved by the European Union initiative in the field of youth. The fourth and final chapter presents specific EU instruments to increase youth mobility.
