Sensitivity analysis of geomorphic change detection from a digital surface model obtained by near aerial photogrammetry

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou a porovnáním minimální možné změny reliéfu pomocí porovnání digitálních modelů terénu (DEM). Výzkum byl proveden na třech různých oblastech s různou mírou změn v určitém časovém období: sesuv na Girové, odlesněný svah v Lubenkách a meandr řeky Odry v Poodří. Cílem bylo provést citlivostní analýzu změn terénu, tedy provést opakované měření povrchu různými způsoby nastavení měřící metody. Práce dále poskytuje informace o rozdílech mezi jednotlivými modely, které byly získány pomocí různých metod a UAV prostředků. Výsledky poskytují informace o odchylkách, detekci změn a spolehlivosti použitých metod, s přihlédnutím k faktorům, které mohou ovlivnit přesnost měření. Práce také prezentuje podrobnosti o terénních změnách v analyzovaných oblastech. Z výsledků vyplývá, že odchylky citlivostní analýzy se ve vybraných oblastech pohybovaly v rozmezí +- 11 cm. Velký vliv na přesnost v případě této práce může mít vegetace. Dále snímkování z odlišných vzdáleností k terénu nemá na odchylky významný vliv, obdobně tak jako při použití odlišného prostředku UAV. Preciznější nastavení agressive při vytváření digitálního modelu povrchu taktéž nemá na odchylky vliv.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the analysis and comparison of the minimum possible change in terrain relief through the comparison of digital elevation models (DEMs). The research was conducted in three different areas with varying degrees of change over a certain period: a landslide on Girová, a deforested slope in Lubenky, and a meander of the Odra River in Poodří. The aim was to perform a sensitivity analysis of terrain changes by conducting repeated surface measurements using various measurement method settings. The work also provides information on the differences between individual models obtained through different methods and UAV means. The results provide information on deviations, change detection, and the reliability of the methods used, taking into account factors that may affect measurement accuracy. The thesis also presents details on the terrain changes in the analyzed areas. The results show that the deviations in sensitivity analysis in the selected areas ranged within ? 11 cm. Vegetation can have a significant impact on accuracy in this work. Furthermore, imaging from different distances to the terrain does not significantly affect the deviations, similarly to the use of different UAV means. More precise "aggressive" settings when creating the digital surface model also do not affect the deviations.
