Coherences of Financial Underwriting and Optimal Configuration of Insurance of Individuals

Abstract:

Předmětem diplomové práce „Souvislosti finančního underwritingu a optimálního nastavení pojištění osob“ je charakteristika a systematizace přístupů komerčních pojišťoven při uplatňování finančního underwritingu v pojištění osob a dále srovnání přístupů a doporučení několika pojišťovacích zprostředkovatelů při procesu sjednávání pojištění osob s ohledem na potřebu optimálního krytí rizika a nastavení pojistných částek. První část práce je zaměřena na teoretická východiska potřebná pro praktickou část práce. Druhá část je věnována problematice finančního underwritingu se zaměřením na charakteristiku přístupů jednotlivých pojišťoven a závěrem na zhodnocení a systematizaci těchto přístupů. Třetí část se zaměřuje na problematiku optimálního nastavení pojištění osob. Na bázi modelových příkladů jsou zde charakterizovány přístupy několika zprostředkovatelů ke sjednávání pojištění osob a jejich metodiky pro nastavování pojistných částek. V závěru je provedeno srovnání a zhodnocení těchto přístupů.

Abstract:

The goal of the submitted thesis „Coherences of Financial Underwriting and Optimal Configuration of Insurance of Individuals“ is to characterize and systematize attitudes of several insurance companies to financial underwriting of insurance of individuals and then to compare attitudes of several insurance intermediaries to the process of contracting insurance of individuals with respect to the need of optimal risk coverage and setting the sums insured. The first part of this thesis is concerned with the theoretical background needed for the practical part. The second one is dedicated to financial underwriting with the focus on description of attitudes of the insurance companies and then evaluation and systematization of these attitudes. The third part is focused on optimal configuration of insurance of individuals. On the base of model examples the attitudes of several insurance intermediaries to contracting insurance of individuals and methodology for setting the sums insured are characterized. In the conclusion these attitudes are compared and evaluated.
