Czech and Slovak viticultural wine literature of the 19th and 20th centuries.

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce si klade za cíl informovat o historii odborné vinařské a vinohradnické literatury. Při zajišťování zpracovávaných materiálů byl proveden průzkum knižního fondu ústavní, fakultní, univerzitní knihovny, včetně archívů. Dalšími zdroji informací, byla Národní knihovna ČR, Moravská zemská knihovna a elektronické zdroje. Klíčové slovo víno, vinařství, či vinohradnictví, však obsahovalo bezmála 5000 monografií. Se zpracováním výběru literatury bylo započato již v lednu 2000. Díky pandemii Covid 19 došlo k uvolnění placených databází, a bylo možné prozkoumat široké spektrum zdrojů, včetně běžně nepřístupných titulů. Tato skutečnost umožnila dobrou orientaci v zadaném tématu, důležitou pro vytvoření osnovy. Po prostudování literárních zdrojů, byly vybrány publikace, které vystihují charakter blíže specifikovaných časových období.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis aims to inform about the history of professional wine and viticulture literature. During the provision of processed materials, a survey of the book collection of the institutional, faculty, university library, including archives, was carried out. Other sources of information were the National Library of the Czech Republic, the Moravian Regional Library and electronic sources. However, the keyword wine, viticulture and viticulture contained almost 5,000 monographs. The processing of the selection of literature was started already in January 2000. Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, paid databases were released, and a wide range of resources could be explored, including those that were not commonly available. This fact enabled a good orientation in the assigned topic, important for the creation of the syllabus. After studying the literature, publications were selected that describe the nature of more specified time periods.
