Analysis of the grammatical content of a textbook for learning French as a foreign language.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis describes and characterizes grammar and its application in the French language teaching. The theoretical part is divided into two chapters. The first chapter focuses on the student's book. The other chapter is dedicated to grammar, its history, results of the researches concerning this field. Moreover, it deals with its categorization to reference tools and an outline of its use in the classroom. The empirical part of the thesis reflects the pieces of information gained in the theoretical part and applies them in the analysis of the student’s book On y va 1 !. The practical part includes the observations of several classes of the grammar school Blansko and presents three worksheets. The worksheets are created on the basis of the results of the observations as well as of the results of the analysis from the empirical part.

Abstract:

Tato práce popisuje a charakterizuje gramatiku a její aplikaci ve výuce francouzského jazyka. V první kapitole teoretické části je stručně popsána učebnice. Druhá kapitola vymezuje gramatiku, její historii, výsledky výzkumů v této oblasti, zařazení do kontextu referenčních nástrojů a nastínění práce s ní ve třídě. Empirická část reflektuje poznatky nabyté v teoretické části a aplikuje je na analýzu učebnice On y va 1 !. Praktická část zahrnuje pozorování v několika třídách gymnázia Blansko a představuje tři pracovní listy, jejíž vypracování bylo ovlivněno výsledky pozorování, stejně jako výsledky analýzy v empirické části.
