Abstract:

Diplomová práce analyzuje osvobození americkou armádou na Klatovsku roku 1945. První část práce analyzuje osvobození západních Čech z všeobecného hlediska. Zabývá se okolnostmi stanovení demarkační čáry, jež určovala teritoria působení spojeneckých armád. Analyzuje podmínky vstupu americké armády na území předmnichovského Československa a následně americkou ofenzivu do Protektorátu Čechy a Morava. Dále se zabývá květnovým povstáním v Čechách, které je nedílnou součástí osvobození. Poslední kapitola první části se věnuje Československé samostatné obrněné brigádě z Velké Británie, která se pod velením americké armády podílela na zajišťování osvobozeného území v západních Čechách. Druhá část práce analyzuje osvobození americkou armádou v Klatovech a okolních obcích. Další kapitola této části zachycuje osvobození a pobyt americké armády v primárních pramenech Klatov a okolních obcí. Poslední kapitola druhé části analyzuje zápisy o Československé samostatné obrněné brigádě v kronikách obcí na Klatovsku.

Abstract:

This thesis analyzes the liberation by the U.S. Army in Klatovy region in 1945. The first part analyzes the liberation of Western Bohemia in general perspective. It deals with the circumstances which let to set out the line of demarcation, which determined the effect of territories of the Allied armies. It analyzes the conditions of entering the U.S. Army in Czechoslovakia and the American offensive in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. It also deals with the May uprisings in Bohemia, which is an integral part of liberation. The last chapter of the first part is devoted to Czechoslovak Independent Armoured Brigade Group from the UK, which involved in ensuring the liberated territory in Western Bohemia under the command of the U.S. Army. The second part analyzes the liberation by the U.S. Army in Klatovy and surrounding cities. The next chapter of this part shows the liberation of U.S. military and stays in primary sources of Klatovy and surrounding cities. The last chapter of the second part analyzes the records of the Czechoslovak Independent Armoured Brigade Group in the annals of cities in Klatovsko.
