System for remote management of devices

Abstract:

Tato práce řeší tvorbu nového systému pro vzdálenou správu zařízení na univerzitě. Jedná se o vlastní řešení vytvořené na míru podle zjištěných potřeb na základě analýzy aktuálního stavu systému a dostupných technologií. Řešení je rozděleno na serverovou část a agenty běžící na zařízeních. Pro implementaci jsou použity technologie jako Django, Celery a gRPC. V závěru je popsán zkušební provoz systému a přijetí systému administrátory PEF Mendelu.

Abstract:

This work addresses the creation of a new system for remote management of devices at a university. It is a custom solution tailored to the needs, based on an analysis of the current state of the system and available technologies. The solution is divided into a server part and agent running on end devices. Technologies such as Django, Celery, and gRPC are used for the implementation. The final section describes the test operation of the system and its acceptance by PEF Mendelu administrators.
