Adaptation of Ukrainian war refugees in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá adaptací válečných uprchlíků v České republice. Hlav-ním cílem této bakalářské práce je systematicky zmapovat zkušenosti dvou klíčo-vých subjektů v kontextu adaptace ukrajinských válečných uprchlíků v České re-publice. Prvním subjektem jsou samotní uprchlíci, kteří byli ubytováni v českých domácnostech, a druhým subjektem jsou tyto české domácnosti, které poskytly ubytování. Cílem je komplexně porozumět procesu adaptace uprchlíků na českou kulturu a současně zhodnotit perspektivu hostitelských domácností. Na základě analýzy jsou poté stanovená vhodná doporučení.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the adaptation of war refugees in the Czech Repub-lic. The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to systematically map the experiences of two key subjects in the context of the adaptation of Ukrainian war refugees in the Czech Republic. The first subject is the refugees themselves, who were ac-commodated in Czech households, and the second subject is those Czech house-holds that provided accommodation. The aim is to comprehensively understand the process of adaptation of refugees to Czech culture and at the same time evalu-ate the perspective of the host households. Appropriate recommendations are then made based on the analysis.
