Cooperation between primary and lower secondary schools and counselling centres in Ústí nad Labem region

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá spoluprací základních škol a pedagogicko-psychologických poraden v Ústeckém kraji při podpoře žáků se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami. Jejím cílem je zmapovat problematiku této spolupráce. Text práce je členěn na část teoretickou a empirickou. Teoretická východiska práce vychází z aktuálních poznatků v oblasti vzdělávání žáků se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami a poradenství ve vzdělávání, se zvláštním zřetelem na problematiku komplexní podpory žáků se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami v hlavním vzdělávacím proudu. Empirická část práce je změřena na prezentaci výsledků kvalitativně orientovaného výzkumného šetření zacíleného na hodnocení kooperace mezi vybranými školami a školskými poradenskými pracovišti. Data jsou získávána prostřednictvím polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s pedagogy základních škol a pracovníky školských poradenských zařízení. Výstupem práce jsou strukturovaná doporučení pro praktické využití získaných poznatků a možné zkvalitnění uvedeného segmentu pedagogické praxe.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the cooperation between primary schools and pedagogical-psychological counselling centres in the Ústí nad Labem region in supporting of pupils with special educational needs. Its aim is to map the issues of this cooperation. The text is divided into theoretical and empirical parts. The theoretical part of the thesis is based on the current knowledge in the field of education of pupils with special educational needs and educational counselling, with special attention to the issue of comprehensive support for pupils with special educational needs in mainstream education. The empirical part of the thesis is focused on presenting the results of a qualitative research investigation aimed at evaluating the cooperation between selected schools and pedagogical-psychological counselling centres. Data are collected through semi-structured interviews with primary school teachers and school counselling staff. The output of the work are recommendations for practical use of the obtained findings and possible improvement of the mentioned segment of pedagogical practice.
