Performance management through Balanced scorecard in a certain company

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce je zhodnotit aktuální strategii konkrétního podni-ku pohledem analýzy balanced scorecard a navrhnout strategii novou, případ-ně modifikovat tu stávající. První část bakalářské práce obsahuje literární re-šerši změřenou na podnikovou strategií, a hlavně na systém balanced score card jako takový. Pro intimní seznámení s podnikovou strategií se využívá především metoda rozhovorů s vedením společnosti, zaměstnanci a zkoumání jak veřejných, tak neveřejných firemních dat. Na základě získaných informací je pak v druhé části popsána aktuální strategie společnosti s využitím systému balanced scorecard a navržena strategie nová.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate the current strategy of a particu-lar company in the view of the balanced scorecard analysis and to propose a new strategy or modify the existing one. The first part of the bachelor thesis contains literature research focused on the corporate strategy and especially on the balanced scorecard system as such. The method used to get intimate with the corporate strategy is mainly interviews with the company manage-ment employees and examination of both public and non-public corporate data. Based on the information gathered, the second part then describes the company's current strategy using the balanced scorecard system and proposes a new strategy.
